Pistachio Cake ~ Grandma Robinson Version

I have 2 recipe for Pistachio Cake. ~ This is the one is my Grandma Robinsons from the 1960’s

1 Yellow Cake Mix

2 pkg Instant Pistachio Pudding mix

4 eggs

1 cup sour cream { I am thinking replace with 0% fat Greek plain Yogurt"}

1/2 cup Oil

1/2 tsp Almond Extract

Mix all in Large mixing bowl ~ med speed ~ 2 minutes

In another smaller bowl

Mix

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp cinnamon powder

1/2 cup finely chopped nuts~ pecans or Walnuts

Grease and flour a Bundt pan lightly ~ Oven 350

Pour half of the cake batter in pan~ spread~ add 1/2 of the nut mixture~ again spread around~

add Batter to top this~ again spread around~ top with rest of Nut mixture

Bake 50 minutes.Till toothpick test comes out smooth.
